Helping learners to pass their practical driving test (or the fully qualified to refresh their existing knowledge), Elaine's Driving School supplies pupils with a professional yet friendly, dedicated and patient approach to driving instruction.

With a dual-controlled (air conditioned) 1.2L Peugeot Allure and an experienced, fully qualified female instructor, Elaine's bespoke driving lessons are designed to improve the pupil's confidence and skills to the level required to pass the practical test and become a full license holder as soon as possible.

Licensed and Approved by the Driving Standards Agency (DSA), Elaine offers you a high standard of driving lessons with professional instruction. Elaine has had a franchise with The British School of Motoring for over 10 years and in 2010 opened her own private school. This provides you with BSM’s 100+ years of experience, expertise and high quality instruction associated with BSM at her value for money private school prices.

The school delivers a comprehensive range of driving lessons, services and instruction which are tailored for each individual pupil based on skill level, experience and confidence. You learn at your own pace and relax because Elaine will tutor you in a bespoke way, aiming to make you pleased at how much progress you make every lesson you have! 

Driving lessons are available for the new learner right through to refresher lessons for the fully qualified and even courses for returning disqualified drivers. Motorway lessons and Pass Plus (arranged with BSM) are also services provided.

Mock tests can be arranged upon request if the pupil feels it would be useful prior to the practical test. There may be a small extra charge for this service as another instructor is provided to make the test as real as possible. The extra charge is for the other instructor’s time; Elaine’s Driving School does not make any profit out of the mock test.

Tailored to a high standard, the range of services offered are cost effective and suitable for all age groups and skill levels. The services provided by Elaine's Driving School are available all year round and are usually arranged during the day but there is no extra charge for evening or weekend lessons.

The option to pick up or drop to a destination at the beginning or end of a lesson (for example work, home or college/university) is also possible within a reasonable distance; also available free of charge (please arrange in advance of your lesson). This gives flexible lesson planning that fits in with the client's lifestyle and pocket.

Whether you’ve been away from driving for a while (to refresh driving skills after a prolonged period of time or after an accident or ban) or you are a nervous novice driver, you can trust and rely on Elaine.
